Q: I found a house I like, what do I do next?

A: Schedule a tour by texting 609-362-2425. 

Q: I would like to sign a lease, what do I do next?

A: Let us know the names and emails of Tenants and Co-Signers. A lease is sent out via DocuSign to gather signatures. â€‹ Then Aan Apartments.com account is create for each tenant. Security Deposit (1.5x rent) is to be paid through the Apartments.com account no more than 5 days after the lease is signed. The first months rent is due 14 days before move in.

Tenants who are students will need a co-signer to ensure rent can be paid. 

Q: Where can I see a sample lease?

Q: What utilities will I pay? How much will utilities cost per month?

A: Tenants are responsible for: 

 

  • ​Electric (PSE&G)

  • Natural Gas/Oil Heat (PSE&G/Petro)

  • Water (Trenton Water Works) 

  • Sewer (Ewing Township)

  • Internet/Cable (Fios/Xfinity)

*Monthly costs for utilities will vary based on consumption, season, and internet/cable package chosen. Budget $60-$80/person/month. 

Q: Are the houses furnished?

A: All house come freshly cleaned and unfurnished

Q: How do I pay rent? 

A: Apartments.com is used to collect rent. If the entire year of rent is paid up front, a 5% discount is deducted off of the annual rent amount. 

Q: Can each tenant pay individual instead of as a group?

Q: Can I sublease my room?

For limited reasons, such as study abroad, a sublease is possible. The new tenant will have to pass a credit check and sign the current lease.

Q: What is a typical lease length?

Leases are typical 12 months, from early June to late May. Longer leases are available.

Q: Are your properties pet friendly? 

A: No

Q: If I want to renew my lease, when do you need to know by?

Q: What if there is something wrong after I move in?

A: Create a maintenance request using Apartments.com and receive a response back within 24 hours. For emergencies, send a text message to (609) 362 - 2425.

*An emergency is a broken pipe, leak in the roof, or anything with fire. A burnt out lightbulb is not an emergency.
